About Veraud

Veraud studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) where he received his MFA Degree (00’) in Wood and Furniture Design from the prestigious School for American Crafts.

With three decades of experience working with wood and wood projects he has established a reputation of excellence as a Craftsman, as an Artist and as a Designer. Some of his work has received awards and others have been exhibited at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, NY and the Museum of Modern Art in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Veraud’s lifelong studio work has focused on the intersection of functional design and artistic expression. Blurring the lines between form and function, between craft and sculptural artistic intent.
